Pali X. Mano Medium: Dry Pigments & non-toxic Resin, Oil, Acrylic, Ink Artist Statement: Born in Budapest, Hungary, graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts Budapest in 1982, and moved to Santa Barbara in 1990. Pali loves the freedom of contemporary art. He also likes to do improvisational performance art, dancing and painting with lifemusic.

Pali has self-invented an interesting technique inwhich he uses dry pigments and crushed minerals mixed with a non-toxic acrylic resin. He then paints this on clear acrylic sheets which produces some very exciting art. He likes to paint whimsical images inspired by pre-historic rock carvings and cave paintings. His compositions range from natural earth tone colors to vibrant and super colorful and are often shaped irregularly like rock slabs.
