Carol Carbine Medium: Oil on canvas Artist Statement: Carol Carbine has been working as a professional painter for over 20 years. She earned a Fine Arts Degree from the University of Utah. Carol resides in Solvang, CA. She is a Board Member of the Artist Guild of the Santa Ynez Valley and a member of SCAPE.

Carol's work has been called ambitious in subject matter as well as often times working on a large format. She has a strong sense of color and shows a fresh interpretation of the beauty around her. Carol's favorite subject matter are vineyards, rolling hills and old oak trees of the Santa Ynez Valley. She works in the plein air tradition.
